Why should I sign up?

Registration allows you to easily manage and track all of your files. Create hidden/private/public folders. Enjoy a bigger file size limit of 50MB, with a whopping 1000MB webspace and 8000MB monthly bandwidth.


Do I have to pay to sign up?

Registration and use of our files hosting service is totally free.


How does billing work for Premium accounts?

Billing is subscription based. Your Paypal account will be automatically billed every month.


When will my bandwidth reset?

Every 15 days, up to 4GB of bandwidth for free user.


I'm a free user. Why do I only see 4GB of bandwidth, your website wrote that I get 8GB monthly?

Your 4GB bandwidth will reset every 15 days, so you will still get 8GB monthly.


I didn't receive my activation email.

Please check your spam mailbox. Contact us if you really can't find it.


Will my account be deleted?

We keep your accounts and files indefinitely but you will need to log into your account at least once in every 30 days. An expiry reminder email will be sent before the deletion of your account.


Can I cancel my account? If I decide not to use it anymore?

You can contact us through our form, remember to include your account name. We will do a email confirmation before deleting your account.


Can I create multiple accounts?

You are only allowed to have one account. Multiple accounts with the same IP numbers are flagged and will be deleted.


Can I delete my files?

Registered members can delete files through the management system.


Is it safe to download files from Hotlinkfiles.com?

We automatically scan all upload files which help protect you against virus files. Your PC should have an anti-virus program for protection too.


How do I change my password or email?

Login to your current account, go to UserCP for changing of password and email.


How can I view the number of downloads for my files?

Login to your account. Go to My Files, click on 'Share this folder', you can see the number of views or downloads for each file.


How can I prevent other users from browsing or stealing my files?

The 'My Documents' folder is Hidden by default. Nobody will be able to see your files unless they know the URL. To prevent access to the files TOTALLY, you can set the folder to Private - this will also prevent any hotlinking.


I'm on a Mac and having problem using your site with Safari.

This site does not support Safari, we recommend you run Firefox.
